Our Story
Social Movies Int'l Ltd is a Nigerian production company founded and led by executive producer Nnamani Sunday Stephen. Since December 2005, he has financed, initiated and overseen Nollywood productions — hiring the right director for each film and shipping every title under a single signature credit: An Nnamani Sunday Stephen Production.
The company operates from Asaba, Delta State, with 19 productions spanning royal epics, traditional epics, family drama, comedy, romance and spiritual thrillers. Recent titles include The Last King (2026), Soul of a Wife (2025, starring Yul Edochie), My Wife My Life (2024), and The Orphans (2022).
Every Social Movies Int'l Ltd release is distributed to Nigerian and diaspora audiences on YouTube — via NollywoodPicturestv and partner channels — free to watch, no subscription required.

Nnamani Sunday Stephen — publicly known as Sunny Steve — is a Nigerian film executive producer. Originally from Nkanu in Enugu State, he spent his early career based in Onitsha, Anambra State, before establishing his production operation in Asaba, Delta State, where the studio is now headquartered.
His career as a movie producer began in December 2005 — twenty years financing, initiating and overseeing Nollywood productions under Social Movies Int'l Ltd. He is not a director; he hires directors per production, choosing the right hand for each story. Every film he backs ships under the same credit line: An Nnamani Sunday Stephen Production.
Born 17 December 1989 and married, he has received industry recognition and awards for his contributions to Nollywood.

My Foolish Wife released — a warm Nollywood comedy.

The Orphans released.

Prophet Sabinus released, starring Zubby Michael.

My Wife My Life released, directed by Shedrach Nwaora.

Most prolific year to date: 8+ productions released including Soul of a Wife (starring Yul Edochie), Savage Queen, Desperate Wife, River Between, Irrevocable Curse, The Royal Palace, Heart to Heart, and Judith the Rat Poison Seller.
